This joker is wild

"When Josh Blue first wobbled into the team hotel a few years back, even some of
the players gawked. Nothing new there.
"I mean, look at me!" he says now.
Blond hair erupting. Chin whiskers cascading. Words slurring. And a spastic
right arm packing, what Blue calls, his "palsy punch. First of all, you don't
know where it's coming from. Second of all, neither do I!" So he still remembers
the buzz in the lobby where the rest of the soccer team had gathered.
"Who is that? ... Is this the new guy? ... This guy is crazy!"
And those were his U.S. Paralympic teammates - some of whom shared his
condition, cerebral palsy. Now you can grasp what Blue's audiences are thinking
when he staggers to the stage with all the steadiness of a bachelor party
survivor."
