By: NBC4's Kelly Mack
" LOS ANGELES -- A young man with severe cerebral palsy has struggled with
all things physical, but he is inspiring everyone he meets with his book "Love
Your Life and It Will Love You Back." NBC4's Kelly Mack met and talked with the
young writer.
Following is a verbatim script from the on-air report.
KELLY MACK: Sourena Vasseghi and his friend Terry Landry discuss some business
in Sourena's home office.
TERRY LANDRY (TO SOURENA): Let's talk about literary agents.
MACK: Sourena has had cerebral palsy since birth, but that has not stopped him
from accomplishing more than most able-bodied people have in their lifetimes.
Sourena graduated from USC's Marshall School of Business with a bachelor's
degree in business and marketing. He received a standing ovation from his
classmates.
Sourena has also authored two books, which he hopes to have published. The
first, called "Keep On Rolling" is about his birth in Iran and his childhood in
Agoura Hills.
His second book is called "Love Your Life and It Will Love You Back."
VASSEGHI: I couldn't achieve success in the conventional way so I came up with
my own tools, which I share in the book."
