Hospital offers 'sensitive Santa' visit for special-needs
kids

"CINCINNATI - A 10-year-old girl with
Down syndrome hugged Santa Claus for the first time at a visit aimed
specifically at children with special needs.
Children's Hospital Medical Center offered visits Sunday with a Santa specially
trained to handle children with disabilities or other needs. About 25 families
attended.
It took 45 minutes of coaxing, but Kara Matson of Mason eventually got close
enough to hug the jolly red elf."
