"Judy Winter laughed when a Michigan
State University music professor said her 3 year old son was "full of music."
That was more than 12 years ago, when Winter
was simply trying to make life more comfortable for Eric, who was born with
cerebral palsy.
But soon, music played a vital role in Eric's
life. He composed melodies and wrote songs until he died in February 2003
at age 12.
The music wasn't just a diversion -- it was
